Kennel FCI — Poodle, Standard N° 172
FCI Standard N° 172 — Caniche
Every Patritziotis Caelestis poodle is measured and placed against the same official criteria set by the Fédération Cynologique Internationale — no exceptions across Standard, Medium, Miniature, or Toy.
| № | Variety | Height at Withers | Weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| I | Standard | Over 45 cm, up to 60 cm (+2 cm tolerance) | 20 – 32 kg |
| II | Medium (Moyen) | Over 35 cm, up to 45 cm | 9 – 13 kg |
| III | Miniature | Over 28 cm, up to 35 cm | 4.5 – 7 kg |
| IV | Toy | Over 24 cm, up to 28 cm (ideal 25 cm) | 2 – 3 kg |
Each variety must display the same proportions and character as the Standard — reduced in scale, never in soundness, and without signs of dwarfism.

Health & Screening
Before any pairing is planned, both parents are cleared against the conditions known to affect the breed — because a beautiful coat should never be the only thing that's inherited.
Standard and Medium parents are radiographed and scored before breeding, in line with FCI-affiliated health schemes.
Annual eye examinations screen for hereditary conditions, including progressive retinal atrophy.
Miniature and Toy lines are patella-graded, with DNA testing for breed-specific inherited conditions on file.
